Hi, I’m Gina (she/they).

You’re afraid of uprooting your life. I get that. I’m not asking you to be someone else. We’re just learning how best to honor what you’ve survived and making room for who you are now.

I am a millennial, queer, eldest daughter, and fluid. I’m Puerto Rican & Italian. That identity affords me a whole lot, while also leaving me feeling quite lost at times. I move through the world in a body that has chronic illness and is dynamically disabled. I think it’s important to take these experiences and translate them into my work. My church is the natural world, and the power of connecting with others in community around the dinner table. I live by my principles, and am deeply passionate about social justice, food, culture, sweatpants, and dragons.

I am a lover of all things artistic. Which means, by nature, I am process and depth oriented. People are who they show you they are. We work on this until our last breath. Being trusted to witness my clients as they map the spaces in between each phase of this evolution is why I love doing this.  Watching my clients learn that their intuition is the best guiding force, as they learn to plant their feet on solid ground is what keeps me in this work.

I have come to realize that much of life is grieving, whether it’s bereavement, or loss of identity, loss of a job, or a relationship- grief is truly everywhere. My experiences with the ways that this grief has changed me and forced me to look at myself through many lenses is what has inspired my journey as a clinician. The tool that helps us move through that grief is curiosity. This work is taxing, but it is also fluid, rewarding, and full of life.

When I’m not working, I love learning about the lore behind fictional worlds, bonus points if there are dragons involved.  My hobbies include mostly skills from the dark ages (book binding, gardening, ceramics, letter illumination, bread making, beekeeping, etc.). My favorite show of all time is The Sopranos. I love literature and art in all forms. If I were able to be reincarnated as a different species, I would like to come back as a snail.
