The moments of silence following a loss can feel so heavy with grief that we are often at a loss for what comes next. We know everything will be different, and yet the world continues on. This brings up so many complicated feelings and emotions, and we are left to pick up the pieces after everyone else goes back to their normal lives. From all the anniversaries, to the first year without them, to the first time you go to call them and they are not there, it always feels like there is something new to adjust to.
This process is not linear, and you do not need to do it alone. I provide a warm, gentle, and nonjudgmental space to process every feeling you have about grief. Whether it was a sudden or tragic loss, a long goodbye, or something in between, I am here to help you move through this.
About me and how I work
My name is Gina Sacino, MS, LCAT. I’m a Licensed Creative Arts Therapist based in Rochester, NY. I serve adults throughout New York State virtually, and I offer depth-oriented, trauma-informed grief therapy for all types of grief.
I believe there is no one correct way to grieve. My process integrates creative ways of memorializing the ones you’ve lost, as well as working through complicated feelings around the loss, such as relief, shame, and anger. I want to hear about the good times and the challenging ones. Together, we can get curious and explore how to make room for what you carry now.
